Parakeet in the rain

Torrential rain all day so we accompanied the grandchildren on a very wet nature trail. They ignore the weather totally which is great. It shouldn't dominate our decisions about what to do - says he piously.

At a hide we saw this green parakeet (I think) enjoying the sunflower seeds. An escapee or born in this country? There are quite a lot of these about.
