Lost clothes

This is my sons hat, I spent all day picking it up.
It got me thinking about all the clothes you see lying around on the floor. Kids clothes I understand but not things like the pair of men's dress shoes I saw the other day - I imagine there is a man in tuxedo bare foot somewhere missing them.
