Come Join the Feast!

The refrain of our Common Prayer reading today was:
Come now and join the feast: right here in the belly of the beast!
Thought it was rather appropriate for the churches of central Sutton singing carols and reading the Christmas story today, right in the middle of our central shopping area.

Window No. 21: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. Isaiah 9:6-7

Is our Christmas more about this son, or about shopping??
