Shortest day

Or so they say , but I have seen daylight so it seems wonderful to me.

I've played carols in 5 spots across Leeds market and the winter wonderleeds event today, over 6 hours! I am truly exhausted. Thankfully due to a total stranger from Newmarket who happened to have a cornet with him and when jokingly asked if he would play said he would I got 15 minutes respite to have a quick walk round Leeds to find a blip. I hope you like what I found - the view of holy trinity church through the wonderful roof of the Trinity centre.

Interesting observations from today: -
the smarter dressed people are the less likely they are to put any money in the buckets.

We collected more money from the more run down areas of the market

I witnessed various random acts of kindness including the good people from Riggmoor Reindeer who were happy to have one of our collecting buckets all day which boosted our funds by over £100, and of course the young man who joined us for a couple of hours, and Corinthian column and R for holding the buckets for us.
