flooded

Driving through Rydal in recent days I have noticed how high the river is. Today I took a wander in that direction but should have gone in wellies to get photos from the flooded field!

The photo was taken sitting on the wall at the roadside with traffic passing within what felt like inches. The trees usually mark the line of the far bank.
