Marbella Sunset
Today we spent the day in Marbella and the weather could not have been better. In fact the temperature reached 22 degrees this afternoon.
This morning we spent some time shopping and wandering round Marbella's Casco Antiquo (Old Town).
We finished our tour of the Old Town with a late lunch at the Altamirano Restaurant. They have been serving the freshest and tastiest seafood in town for more than a quarter of a decade. While there we were entertained by two young children who were having such a great time. I managed to take a couple of shots of the lovely Chloe.
After our long lunch we headed down to the beach, through the small botanical garden on Paseo de la Alameda, past the Travesía Carlos Mackintosh and then down the Avenida del Mar, with its fountains and a collection of ten sculptures by Salvador Dali.
Our day finished with a walk along the Puorto Deportivo, just in time to see the sun going down over the Mediterranean. If you go large you can see Gibraltar in the distance.
