Bah humbug

Since I told my sister about the baby she's pretty much ignored me - wasn't a surprise as she doesn't tend to handle other people's good news very well. Well certainly not mine. I get it a bit this time as I know she'd like a family and it hasn't happened yet but still find her attitude disappointing. But it's happened enough throughout my life for it to no longer upset me. But I thought I'd give her the benefit of the doubt and drove over in my lovely new car to see her new house this morning. She was very off with me - no hugs - and didn't ask how I was, how the fella was or how the baby was. But I heard plenty about her life. Stayed about an hour and decided I couldn't be arsed anymore so headed home for a lovely chill out on the sofa and a bit of a snooze.

Then had a lovely evening out with some work friends who live nearby - was doing fine on the not drinking front and being chatty until we moved to a crowded bar when I decided I was too tired and too sober to stay! So headed home while the fella stayed on for a couple more and enjoyed another sofa chill! This baby is tiring me out (or I'm just a boring sod using the baby as an excuse!!)
