Midwinter Midnight Blip

This morning I woke up only just in time for the yearly Christmas/New Year brunch of the Saturday studios with the painters and sculptors. A glass of wine not all that long after sleeping nearly twelve hours straight through! Wondering around the shopping crowds in the rain without camera and home to revisit the last of the Harry Potter films, " the Deathly Hallows", which I had not really understood when I saw them in the cinema the first time. The eternal struggle between darkness and light, great theme for Midwinter and...for photographers :-)
