Glass House Mountains

3.30 start again for a surf. Duncan took me up to a place near where they used to live whilst building their house. It was an awesome place for watching the sunrise. Took a couple of pictures before we went to Noosa point for a surf. All the pros there again. Whacked someone on the head with my board as a wave crashed onto me and my board came out my hands!! Surfer in. We were going to walk around to little cove and have a go there but we didn't in the end. There was a guy surfing that is 4th in the world. His board went into the rocks as he didn't have a strap on his foot. We had a coffee with Carl before we drove over to the other end of the beach to have another surf. I like it there better as you don't have to constantly be on the look out so you don't get knocked out.
After a good wash we went for a drive to the glass house mountains. Stopped to get lunch at a bakery Duncan told me was super good. Was a good lunch. He told me a funny story of when they were there last. Mark (Lucy's sister) has one child and the other is his wife's Karen's from a different father. Mark's child is quite a difficult child! He wanted the last chicken pie in the shop when Jess and Max wanted it too! He then ate none of it and Max's friend said to everyone 'I used to be a little shit when I was that age too'. Apparently Karen gave him a very dirty look!
Next stop was another town which I drove too. Duncan took me to an antique shop. He was very kind and bought me a antique box as my Christmas present he said! Saw a wood shop that made me think of Father!! Duncan then drove to the glass house mountains. The countryside is so pretty. Saw the amazing glass house mountains from a distance and then we went into the rainforest. The trees in it were absolutely amazing. Masses of huge fig trees and masses of vines. Someone them looked like really big pieces of rope. Dunc had a coffee and we sat overlooking the glass house mountains. We drove back and both had a snooze before we headed out our separate ways. Duncan went to have a BBQ with Carl. I drove into Eumundi and met up with Carla at Bohemian Bungalow for supper. Clare was going to join but she couldn't make it. The food there was amazing! We chatted about work and how Nic is being annoying to everyone! It was a really nice catch up/goodbye. I then drove to Noosa as I didn't feel like going back home that early. Wandered around there before heading back. I was asleep before Duncan got back.
