A Late One

Another day of what I call 'filler' at school, ie; Christmas crafts interspersed with movies. They actually really enjoyed watching Babes in Toyland, from 1961, and have watched it twice this week. The classic Disney is so much better than all that 3D crap they churn out nowadays.

I went to the school Christingle service this evening at the local church. For the first time, my mum and Ro came, and it lovely for them to see how special this event is. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful singing and dancing, however we were distracted as a little boy in the choir came out and told us he felt sick. He looked terrible but wanted to carry on, but it was a very tense time as we watched his swallowing and looking grey and ashen. Thankfully he made it through.

I dropped my mum home, and then picked up a friend from work to go for Xmas drinks and nibbles at another friends house. We had a lovely evening, the wine flowed, and we were persuaded to stay long after we should have! In fact, we only left when I realised it was 1am! After I dropped them both home, I finally got to bed at 2am.

Going to be shattered tomorrow!
