A tale of two cakes

This is a golden rum cake (involving a LOT of booze), shortly to be transported to Kilderkin for Christmas Rum Club. This is my second attempt - cake number one refused to come out of the tin in one piece, and is now in bits in a Tupperware container. I'm thinking a nice trifle might be its destiny... :-)
