Robert Peel

While doing a bit of Christmas shopping today - yes, a surprising number of shops were open - I noticed the sun shining on Robert Peel's statue at the end of the High Street in Montrose. The statue was erected in 1855 to honour his political
achievements - I think it was erected on the site of the old prison. Only had my point and shoot camera with me but the lighting really attracted me. I've cloned some of the sky on his lefthand side to get rid of some buildings that weren't enhancing his stance:-)
