Mallards in the Mud!

Where is all this rain coming from? Some of the puddles are now so large that the wild fowl are swimming in them, foraging for tasty morsels and generally claiming them for their own exclusive use. The mallards seem to be pairing up these days ..... Christmas courting perhaps!
