BEFORE SUNRISE

still in the dark, Piet Hein and I went to walk in the forest, we took the broad path till the T-crossing and returned on a another broad path, parallel at the first one.
Of course we had hoped to see the forest creatures. But only the tail of a deer was the closest that we got and only I saw that tail. Piet Hein has seen another creature but could not say who it was.
When we came back it seemed a good idea to start on the tree. The taping together of the ladders was the easiest part.
Collecting the branches of the fir-trees not difficult althogether and most branches has got in the way anyway. But it hurts I know!
But how were we going to attach the branches to the ladders? Start somewhere and see where it leads.
We'll leave the tree for now and go to the Christmas concert.

My haiku:

Did they hide for us?
Fearing some danger coming
Near and nearer steps

And the proverb:

There may be blue and better blue.

Meaning: There may be differences between things of the same kind, and persons of the same station.

1721 J. Kelly again!

The hosta leaves I made blue and better blue because of the dark sky.
