Sitting on the Fence

Up far too early this morning as Samantha and Hez were booked in to collect some of the Christmas supplies at 7:30 this morning in town. On a Sunday! Poor Hez was ever so slightly hungover too I think, but a Morrisons' Flying Start brekkie soon sorted that out.

Left Euan and I to do the pre-Christmas clearing-out skip run, then on to do a bit of shopping, dodging showers, buying lunch, then climbing to the top of the Pleasure Grounds at the west end of Alloa here (to dodge the traffic cops that were pulling cars over for random spot checks). Good to see there's been a good bit of work done laying new paths and putting up fences as the place has been looking really rough the past few years. The fences are perfect for climbing to get a better view too.

Back home now, Christmas lights all hung eventually, glass of wine in hand, roast on the go, Jarvis's Sunday Service on the radio and It's a Wonderful Life cued up ready to play later. Can feel the bah-humbug slip-sliding away.

SOOTC in the small ellipse, first edit in Color Efex Pro next, then converted to mono with Silver Efex Pro on the outside, and finally back for some final tweaking in Lightroom (the section with Euan standing).
