Mission Accomplished

We went to our local reservoir today, despite a weather forecast for heavy rain, with the express purpose of finding and photographing the resident, and well known Albino Squirrel an elusive quarry, and the equally elusive Great Northern Diver.

Surprisingly we managed to both see and photograph both.....

We are not into tick box wildlife watching, and do not have any kind of list - but today, as the title of this post states, was mission accomplished.....

First time we've seen a Great Northern Diver (Loon to out American cousins) and an Albino squirrel is a very rare sight indeed.....
