what ewe lookin at?
Went for a great walk today, up around the side of Pendle Hill, alongside Ogden Reservoir, through the woods and down into the village of Barley for a well earned sausage, bacon and melted cheese bap and mug of tea! It was freezing!
There was still a lot of autumnal colours about and I took some lovely long distance shots across the reservoir down over the hills that were really bright and colourful. But when I got home, I liked this very simple one taken as the sun had well and truly gone for the day best. Just really liked the curve of the stone wall and the shape of that solitary tree which looks like its trying to play the piano on the wall to me! And the one hardy little sheep. Its a pretty bleak and harsh landscape once you get high up on Pendleside, and this seemed to sum it up well.
So, the lonely sheep with attitude is for Mr Gravett who always captures them perfectly.
The weird personification of the tree is for Boondog who sees faces everywhere!
