A view from St Swithin

Westburn House

Had a wee brisk and chilly walk through Victoria and Westburn Park this afternoon . Not many folk about but we were lucky to catch a few rays from a wintery sun.
These are two parks I don't go to often although sometimescycle through Victoria Park en route to work . This is a blip of Westburn House in Westburn Park. Its a listed building built by Archibald Simpson and now owned by the council . Its always been near derelict although in the past was a children's nursery. As long as I can remember there have been thoughts about renovating it but nothing seems to be happening . Not terribly unusual when the ACC is involved I'm afraid - although it is a rather grand building but definitely in need of a bit of love and attention . More info here.
