The Shortest Day

I had to travel over the mountain to get some eye drops for my wife who has just had laser eye surgery, and past this tree on top which I have photographed before. It's stripped bear for winter and Winter Solstice was yesterday - the shortest day.

Did my shopping and with time on my hands I have breathed some life into the image.
