Countdown to Christmas - The Sun Returns

Holly and Ivy have been gathered and decorate the fireplace.

A Christmas tree has been 'acquired' and decorated.

Gifts have been made and await wrapping.

As the sun set, safe in the knowledge that it has passed it's lowest point and is starting its journey northwards, I drove to St Albans Hospital to collect a friend who has had an operation on her knee and took her home.

20 minutes later the heavens opened and I got completely soaked.

Roast chicken with friends followed and gave me the chance to dry out! Now I'm off to the pub for the quiz.
