Days are getting longer

After the shortest day, the days are drawing out again!! :-) a fact that usually goes unnoticed in the frantic Christmas preparation.
I have used enough wrapping paper today to go around the planet three times! However, it is now all done with the exception of one small gift.
I had a delicious afternoon tea with my friend this afternoon, postponed from her birthday. It was lovely to put the world to rights for a couple of hours.
The house is clean and tidy, ready for the arrival of Father Christmas tomorrow night. :-)
