If only evrerything in life tasted this good!

As its that time of year again, the bakers at work are busy hand making gingerbread trees! I was fortunate enough to see these little beauties standing there waiting to be wrapped and handed out to their lucky owners. The note at the bottom has been censored, all you may be able to read is "...anyone who touches these trees. have a nice night =)". As you may have guessed, it was a gentle reminder not to touch the trees in case they become damaged.

Obviously I have played with the colours to make it look like a scene from Willy Wonka, but they also look amazing in the flesh, or icing in this case. They are a fantastic sensual attack of colour, smell and, if you are lucky enough, taste!

I never get tired of sticking my head in the display cabinet that houses one of these, its a delighful smell of Christmas and something we all look forward to sharing in the bakery.
