I love toast xx

Eva just woke once in the night, then woke around 8.30am. Again Mike got her up, washed and dressed, then brought her into me for her morning milk and cuddles. I really struggled to get up this morning so was a great excuse to have extra cuddles and play with teddies in bed with Eva, before I dragged myself up. Again Mike gave Eva her brekkie while I got myself showered and dressed, then off we set to do the Christmas food shop.

Eva was shattered by the time we got back just after midday. I took her up for her milk and to settle her down for her sleep, but she just played in her cot, we were watching her on the camera. I went back up around 1.15 and gave her some more milk and settled her back into bed, and she was out for the count and slept for 2 hours.

My dad came round while she was asleep, but he said he'll come back tomorrow to see her.

Eva had a lovely play with her toys this afternoon, and we had a few films on over the course of the afternoon including Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Cinderella and The Snowman. I did us a lovely roast chicken dinner and left Eva's in whole pieces for her to pick up and feed herself. We're still getting loads on the floor but she's eating a lot more than she used to when she does it herself now, she even enjoyed a roast potato.

Mike gave her her bath, then I gave her her bedtime milk and she was in bed by 8pm. We heard her playing and chattering away on the monitor for a good hour, but she eventually drifted off. From looking at her on the camera, she's on her tummy lying across the cot, so I think Mike is going to go up and reposition her and tuck her back in shortly, and try not to wake her xxx
