The chores of the morning undertaken in between hail showers and high winds made way for more things to be done.

In the afternoon we were at a lovely Christmas do which demonstrated that we need to get our fingers out and that two weeks without a drink mean that two glasses of sparkling wine go to the head pretty easily.
