The gingerbread house!

lovingly assembled last night from an Ikea flat pack with lots of gloopy icing, liquorice strips and sweeties!
When Fred and I had departed for our night out we left them with rather runny icing and three pairs of hands trying to hold the construction together because it kept collapsing! but behold - a fab finished job!

Today The girls and I went shopping for Christmas jumpers (for Fred and Alex too). Yes, we have caved in to the silliness on account of the Oz contingent being massively excited about wearing jumpers at Christmas, which for them is 30-40*C summer! So we will have pics of us in our Xmas knitwear on the day!

We then made the crackers and finished the wrapping followed by daft trying on sessions as we had fun assembling Pirate costumes for Christmas Eve when we are having a pirate themed murder mystery dinner!
