Cake

A busy couple of days driving up and down the M1 - yesterday to Derby and back to Hertfordshire, today to Leicester and back.

The trip to Leicester was to visit my sister who has been in hospital for over three weeks (and on and off for some months previously). She is desperately hoping to be home for Christmas and I hope she makes it.

While in that direction, we also dropped in on my father-in-law and my sister-in-law, and I came away from the last visit with a couple of slabs of lovely home made Christmas cake. It made the driving all worth while!
