Paris can be such a cliché that it always seems hard to take very unique pictures of it. That's why I'm quite happy with this one. Liking how minimalist it looks, only three people walking in an empty space, that's hard to get here. I also really like the place where it was taken, les Arènes de Lutèce, an Antique amphithéâtre. I always wonder when I go there what it is still doing there, hidden behind buildings. It feels a bit like a secret place, you wouldn't find it if someone hadn't showed it to you before.

We stopped there with Marine during a long walk we took that day, first to have a tea in the Grande Mosquée, then to do some xmas presents, but mostly to enjoy the sun. It is a bit of a parallel world, so empty and so calm. That day two groups of old men were playing pétanque and some kids were playing football. Countryside ? Almost.
