Spring in December

The top photo shows our patio table three days ago, covered with almost eight inches of snow. This morning we awoke to find no traces of snow anywhere, thanks to recent unseasonably warm temperatures. It was a little disconcerting, but the spring-like weather has been a welcome respite.
