Fire show

Had a super quick breakfast today before we lugged our bags through the sand to the boat taxi service! It was horrible walking through the sand with our bags, such hard work. Waited for a while before a boat came to collect us. We went around to all the other secluded beaches with little resorts to collect other people. Finally made it to Kuta Bharu. Went to book a bus to Melaka. The only bus was in the evening! So we took a taxi into the city and tried to find some internet. We dumped our big bags at the bus station behind a small ticket place. Had lunch in a very strange ‘shopping mall’ that wasn’t a shopping mall at all. We have no idea what we were eating but whatever it was it was pretty disgusting. We couldn’t find internet anywhere. We sat in a KFC for 5 hours and we both caught up on our dairies. We had masses of stares again as we were the only tourists. Finally hit 8.30 and we went to catch our bus. The ladies in the ticket place said that we were very very strong carrying our bags! Sat at the side of the road waiting for our bus to come. A Malaysian guy came over and started chatting to me. He asked how old I was and I said 33. He was a little shocked but believed me then left, so it worked me lying! The bus was crowed with masses of locals and when we were sat on our seats there was hardly any space. Not a good nights sleep!
