I'm READY!!!!

"Nessi" the young Verreaux's Eagle, recently named in a competition (the name means 'miracle') is now 12 weeks old.

For the past 10 days or so, it has been flexing and stretching its wings while hopping around on the nest.

It should take its maiden flight within days now.
