Python at 30mm
This impressive fellow (a bit over 2m long) was rather exciting our cat this morning. Once I realised what she was so interested in I grabbed my camera and snapped off a few pics. (They're not dangerous to big lumbering primates.)

In other news, my 28mm arrived today - awesome fast shipping YAY! So that'll definitely be my January lens (for the Pentax Forums "single in..." Challenge; not necessarily every day's blip). First shot here. 8) And it's surprisingly sharp; that was taken inside, low light, handheld, with a whopping great noisy ISO (3200) and wide-open.
