Savannah/day 2
What a lovely city - after almost every corner you come across another beautiful green square. The geometry of the city actually reminds me of Edinburgh's New Town. The British influence here is dominant - Georgian and Victorian architecture make this a very beautiful city center. Which makes it even more surprising that so much of the real estate does not seem to be taken care off and is falling apart. As Mark rightly pointed out, why don't all the pensioners come here and invest in old buildings, rather than in over-irrigated and over-acclimatized timeshares in Florida??? You do wonder.
