Devastating day

Today has not been a good one for the boy

Tragedy #1
Jamie has perfect vision, so cannot have a pair of much wanted glasses

Tragedy #2
Jamie forgot that the ending to The Snowman was sad. He cried. A lot.

Tragedy #3
It then occurred to Jamie that in order for the ending to The Snowman to be sad, the person who made the film had wanted this to be the case. This saddened and perplexed him in equal measure.

Tragedy #4
Crying about the sad ending to The Snowman reminded him of how sad he'd been when he watched a film in which a dragon died. Over a year ago. More crying.

Tragedy #5
His cruel and heartless mother then dragged him out to walk the dog in the cold and the rain, despite the fact that he was wearing pyjamas, which apparently should guarantee him the right to stay indoors all day

Silver lining to the many clouds
The only thing that made Jamie cheer up, was seeing his sister sobbing when she realised that Jamie has fluffy welly socks, and she doesn't.


There is a chance that the excitement and suspense may becoming just a little too much for my kids.....
