Fields Landing Sunset

The Little Bunting was a no-show today--a first since it arrived about two weeks ago. Spent some quality time with a Turkey Vulture along the way so all was not lost. The afternoon brought a sighting of a current regional rarity, a juvenile Sandhill Crane in Ferndale, as well as this sky show overlooking Humboldt Bay. A good day, full of necessary distractions.
