A blow of a day, especially up at the graveyard where I made my annual pilgrimage to the old stone. It was a struggle holding onto the gamp, so it was and I briefly sheltered back at the folks house drying out.
Anyway, I could tarry no longer for m-i-l had already arrived back at the gaff. I trudged home.
I did catch some of Clive James being interviewed by Andy Marr however - really excellent stuff. 'A late sublime', indeed.
