Lighting up London

Tonight was the evening of our annual festive skate. This year, we were off to the Tower of London.

To make an evening of it, we took the train to Blackfriars and then walked down the river. And it was just beautiful. All lit up for Christmas and the bells of Southwark cathedral ringing out.

Luckily, it was dry and not to windy so the kids had a great skate! We quite enjoyed it too ;-)
