Through the floods!

Gail had fun a couple of days ago photographing me driving through a puddle. She was out in the other car today and phoned me at some point to say that she was having difficulty getting home due to the floods. (She did find a dry route).

So I had to go out and see how bad they were - most of the roads between Maulds Meaburn and Kings Meaburn were under between 1 and 2 feet of water. At least the roads were deserted, so I was able to take this shot safely - and at only about 10 miles an hour! All that and the camera stayed almost dry.
