Play washed out!

What a day!. I took Jinxy just up on the common this morning and it was raining buckets. The wind was so strong I could hardly walk back against it.

We then drove up to Doccombe where Mrs M sister lives. The lanes were like rivers and there were several small trees in the road that I was able to drive over. We had a lovely lunch and then made our way back to East Devon. In a way the main roads were worse not just because of the standing water but because of the volume of traffic and the speed of some lunatics

We were both glad to get home where of course Jinxy was happy to remind us that he had not has his afternoon walk.

We are now all fed and watered and ready to settle down for the evening.

My blip today is the fields in front of out Dartmoor Base which were beginning to get flooded
