St Marys

Another grey day. How can we have wonderful sunshine, blue skies and puffy clouds yesterday and then just plain grey today? All day. Grey. My mood changes massively with the weather, which means I felt grey today.

I'm not a religious person, but I think churches are some of the most amazing architecture that people have ever come up with. This is St. Mary's Cathedral at Haymarket in Edinburgh.

The top of the steeple was actually just in the clouds. It is amazing, but not that amazing - the cloud level seemed to be lower than ground level most of the day.

Must go back on a nicer night for some better sky.
