As every year we went to the Halle Christmas concert

As every year it was fantastic - the children's choir did a fab performance of 'merry Christmas to me' - you can't help smiling all the way through.

Smiling was more difficult this evening though as we had news that my dad was back in hospital on a high dependency ward ...

Plans were turned upside down and I am flying out in the morning ...

My better half will follow next week..

It will be strange not to be with him and the boys this Christmas but we will celebrate together once my dad is better!!
