Cupcakes

My daughter's on a special diet, so sadly she can't tuck into normal Christmas pudding and Christmas cake with the rest of us. This means, though, that she gets a special low-protein Christmas cake all of her own. (She doesn't like Christmas pudding anyway as she tried a little taste!)

So this evening I've wrapped presents and made cupcakes for her. I watched The Angels' Share, a Scottish movie that I picked up fairly cheap in Fopp today, which I would recommend.

And at lunchtime, I met up with my friend Aileen who's back for Christmas from working in Brussels. We went for lunch at Cosmo at the Omni which is pretty good value and good freshly made food (for an all you can eat buffet!).
