A pepper is for life, not just for Christmas
For the first time since I can remember, someone else is cooking the Christmas turkey tomorrow. That doesn't stop me cooking however.
Ian requested Delia's 'hot and sour pickled prawns' as a starter. It's very light and should compliment the main very well.
Generally a summer dish, the preparation involved finely sliced red onion, lime and coloured peppers. If you slice them vertically across the rounded bit you avoid both the pith and the seeds. Once sliced it looked a lot like a tree decoration.
