Watery walk

Well, what a wild night that was! We have several damaged fence panels and a wonky weather vane, but we are dry and have power, so compared with many people in the south, we have been very lucky indeed.

This was taken after the river had subsided somewhat! I had to clamber along the fence to take this.

House clean and tidy(ish), stuffing, mince pies and sausage rolls all made, vegetables prepared ... I think I'm ready!
