Cookies!

I have no idea about this. Wife bought a pan the other day that makes these funky cakes. And stuff. Lost me in the explanation. Do you know these baking pans have names? Not that I can remember! ;)

My little neice took today's Blip, which is why it's slightly blurred. In no way am I critisizing her - she's 8 - she weighs nearly nothing and she's weilding a huge Canon L lens in poor light. Camera weighs 1/5th of what she does! But it's still a credible effort!

I love letting her use the camera. She's wandering round the place with $2k of a camera equipment in her hands, she loves it and it scares the dayliights out of her mother. But heck, imagine being a responsible 8 year old (she's very responsible and very bright otherwise I wouldn't let her use the camera) and being let loose with your uncle's good camera gear? And even if she did drop it - is it any different to me dropping it on a regular basis? Heck, she's short, she's closer to the ground.

Maybe it'll inspire her in the future. Maybe it won't. Who knows.
