Christmas Eve Sunset Over Flooded Fields

As I sit here by the fire sipping wine I really feel for all the poor people who have been flooded and are without power after last night's storm. :( I didn't sleep very well as the wind was roaring and our wooden house was creaking as if it was going to blow away.

I stopped to shoot the flooded fields at Harlow Mill this afternoon on the way back from visiting my daughter. As I was doing so, a colourful sunset was forming behind me. I have decided not to post a Technicolour shot but this one, which has a bit of the 'In The Bleak Midwinter' about it.
