Christmas Eve
I've had another lovely day looking after Scarlett, who clapped her hands for the first time this morning. She's being doing it all day, laughing as she claps - she really is an absolute joy!
After she'd had her breakfast I took her to the clinic to be weighed, and then this afternoon we went round to Alan's mum and dad's again until Rach finished work. Alan's sister was there when we arrived so Scarlett had a cuddle with Aunty Jan, who then proceeded to give her one of her Christmas presents. She really is spoilt by everyone as you can see from Rachel's blip.
Once Rach had picked her up, we drove to mum's where we're staying for the next couple of nights, and tonight we went to Tarantella, the local Italian restaurant. There was a great atmosphere, and they had an accordion player playing a mix of Italian and Christmas music. He came and sang at our table and I love this photo of mum singing along with him. I took a few photos which I showed him, and he gave me his card and asked if I'd send some to him. We've had a great night, and are now home waiting for Santa to visit.
Tomorrow we're going to Rachel and Scott's for Christmas dinner, together with Scott's parents. So Scarlett will have all her grandparents and great grandma together for her first Christmas - it'll be a special day, and it'll be late when I post my blip, so I'll wish you a Happy Christmas, and I hope you have a great day!
