After The Storm . . .

The ice build-up around the branches of a downed tree is beautiful in the crisp and brilliant sunshine. But bugger this for a lark: we've been without power since the ice storm hit Ontario on Saturday evening. No power. No heat. Minus 20 temperature. No TV. Early to bed. Just like the olden days. Nothing to do but play Eye-Spy, twiddle thumbs and drink large quantities of red wine . . .

Fortunately the power returned this morning, before murderous thoughts spoiled the holiday . . .
