Things are looking up in Canonmills

The family arrived for Christmas and rather than cooking the gammon I'd queued for we decided to go to The Other Place, a new and very welcome addition to the drinking scene of the Edinburgh (nearly) New Town. Just after this pub opened there was a bit of a stooshie when the ceiling collapsed, however, it's now been replaced by a historic map of the local area above the punters heads.
