The Storm Before Christmas

It's Christmas time in Guernsey, so that can mean only one thing: non-stop extreme storms! I braved the latest in the name of finishing off some last minute Christmas chores, which hopefully will pay off on the day! Dire warnings counted for nothing as insane brave Guerns kicked off a day of shopping madness, no doubt heightened by the near absence of Sunday trading.

Dad and I continued our foodie Christmas, stopping off at his favourite carvery for lunch, and ending the day at his favourite Indian restaurant. Nice as the latter was, it was bloody hot, and and I haven't quite felt the same since! The real indulgence though will come on Christmas Day, and I'll explain the reasoning for it then.
