Guess who got a new toy

Someone is a bit wrapped up in his Christmas present!

A beautiful summer morning here in Christchurch, New Zealand (at odds with the forecast). We enjoyed sunshine and a walk in the Port Hills. Then, as predicted, the rain arrived in the afternoon and really settled in. That's OK, time to get familiar with the gift.

I placed my lad next to a window and made use of the incredibly flat light to get this portrait. A gold reflector on the right as you look at it (his left) eliminated most of the shadow.
